With over 65,000 attendees and the strategic launch of the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) replacing the organizing role of MAS, SFF 2025 painted a picture of a new financial infrastructure built on three pillars: Agentic AI, Commercialized Tokenization, and Quantum Security.

• From Chatbots to Autonomous Agents: Jiangming Yang, CIO of Ant International, redefined payments not as a single transaction, but as a chain of “intelligent interactions.” AI Agents are now capable of automatically negotiating, executing transactions, and handling exceptions on behalf of humans.
• The Birth of ALFIN & The Role of Clean Data: The biggest highlight was GFTN’s announcement of the ALFIN platform. This is a direct answer to the “Black Box” problem of AI. However, AI is only as smart as its input data is clean. In Vietnam, data infrastructure platforms like DataCore are emerging as critical links, providing standardized datasets (from macro and stock data to corporate data), serving as trusted sources of “Verifiable Intelligence” for financial AI models to operate accurately in the domestic market.

• Quantum-Safe Cryptography: Discussions at SFF emphasized that banks need to transition to “Quantum-Safe” infrastructure starting now. Data stolen today (even if encrypted) could be decrypted in the future when quantum computers mature (Harvest Now, Decrypt Later).
• Verifiable Data: In the context of rampant Deepfakes (up 33% in the past year), trust no longer relies on Surface Identity but must be based on Verifiable Data and Behavioral Biometrics.

5. Vietnam’s Mark: From Outsourcing to Innovation Partner

For the first time in SFF’s 10-year history, Vietnam hosted an official National Pavilion. This was not just a trade promotion activity, but a repositioning of the national brand.
